What your skin really needs...

Hello you,

How nice that you care about your skin and that proper care is important to you! ✨💪🏼

Skincare, or taking care of your own skin, has become increasingly popular in recent years. With the rise of social media and the influence of celebrities and beauty bloggers, more people than ever are investing time and money in their skincare routine.

But why is skin care so important?

First of all, the skin is the body's largest organ and serves as a protective barrier against harmful external factors such as UV rays, pollution and bacteria. Proper skin care can help maintain this barrier and prevent damage that can lead to premature aging, discoloration and even skin cancer.

So what does good skin care involve? The answer depends on factors like skin type, age and personal preference, but there are some basic steps everyone should follow.

Step 1 : Clean

The first step in any skincare routine is cleansing the skin. This removes dirt, oil and makeup so the skin can breathe and absorb subsequent products. Choose a gentle cleanser that suits your skin type - oily skin types may prefer a foaming cleanser, while people with dry skin may prefer a cream or oil-based cleanser. Our electric facial cleansing brush is ideal for this, so the cleanser is optimally worked into the skin and it is optimally cleaned deep down to the pores.

Step 2 : Peeling

Exfoliation removes dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. This helps to brighten the complexion and improve skin texture. However, be careful not to overdo the exfoliation as this can cause irritation and damage to the skin. Depending on your skin type, exfoliating once or twice a week is enough.

Step 3 : Toning

Toners are used to restore the pH balance of the skin after cleansing and prepare it for the products that follow. They can also help to hydrate and soothe the skin. Choose a toner that suits your skin type - for example, people with dry skin may prefer a hydrating toner, while people with oily skin may prefer a toner that controls oil production.

Step 4 : Treat

Here you can target specific skin concerns, such as acne, hyperpigmentation or fine lines and wrinkles. There is a wide range of products available, including serums, masks and spot treatments, so choose the products that address your specific concerns.

Step 5 : Moisturizing

Moisturizers hydrate and protect the skin. They come in a variety of formulations, from light lotions to rich creams, so choose one that suits your skin type and needs.

Step 5 : Sun protection

Last but not least, it is important to protect your skin from the sun's harmful UV rays. Choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 and apply it daily, even on cloudy days. The sunscreen prevents aging and protects your skin optimally from sunlight. There are also creams that contain sun protection, so you can cover 2 steps in one cream.

In addition to these basic steps, there are other things you can do to keep your skin healthy. Eating a balanced diet, getting enough sleep, staying hydrated, and avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol consumption can all have a positive impact on the health of your skin.

Remember that skin care isn't just about looking good - it's about taking care of your body's largest organ and protecting it from damage. 🫶🏼
